Glenwood, IL – November 23, 2005 – Nick Wilson, president of Morrison Container Handling Solutions, a leader in the manufacturing of timing screws and change parts, announces Benjamin J. Flor has joined the company as Change Parts Engineer. He is the eighth member of the engineering team in the company’s Change Parts Department. As part of the team, Mr. Flor is responsible for analyzing container-handling challenges; developing innovative solutions; inspecting and installing equipment; and working with the staff of Morrison’s customers to ensure maximum line efficiency.

“Benjamin Flor is a dynamic addition to our change parts engineering team with his enthusiasm, drive and dedication to Morrison’s highest standards of superior knowledge, quality products and unsurpassed customer service,” states Nick Wilson, president of Morrison Container Handling Solutions. “Ben has completed the Packaging Machinery Manufacturers Institute (PMMI) Certified Training Program at Goodman Packaging Equipment (Waukegan, IL), where he learned proven teaching techniques geared toward helping operators, maintenance technicians and other users of packaging machinery adapt to new technologies, improve speed, increase efficiency, and increase profits. End-users are now insisting on highly technical and effective training support when purchasing plant equipment. Having employees who are educated in providing this packaging industry specific training support is vital,” Mr. Wilson continues.

“I am eager to put my PMMI training to work, assisting the staff of Morrison’s customers in further improving efficiencies and speeding up container changeovers. The expertise that I have gained will also prove beneficial when training incoming engineers in product development procedures as Morrison’s team continues to grow,” says Mr. Flor.

Mr. Flor, a native of Flossmoor, IL, holds a BS in mechanical engineering from the University of Wisconsin, Madison, WI. Prior to joining Morrison Container Handling Solutions, he participated in UW’s cooperative engineering program, working for Sub-Zero Freezer Company, Madison, WI, as a design engineer.
