PMMI Elects Nick Wilson, Morrison Container Handling Solutions President, to Board of Directors

Glenwood, IL – November 23, 2005 – Nick Wilson, president of Morrison Container Handling Solutions, a leader in the manufacturing of timing screws and change parts, has been elected to a four-year term as a director of the Packaging Machinery Manufacturers Institute (PMMI) beginning January 1, 2006. PMMI is a trade association whose more than 500 members manufacture packaging and packaging-related converting machinery in the United States and Canada. As a global resource for the packaging industry, PMMI works to improve and promote its members’ abilities to serve their customers.

Nick Wilson founded Morrison Container Handling Solutions (then Morrison Timing Screw Company) in 1971 when he realized there was a shortage of technical expertise in the manufacture of container-handling products. Since that time, Morrison Container has been a leader in manufacturing timing screws and change parts for the combining, dividing, metering, indexing and orienting of new or existing applications. Its field service and engineering departments solve container-handling challenges for leading packaging companies throughout the United States and the world. Morrison has become one of the most respected names in the field due to their exceptional engineering, reliable products and dedication to customer service. They set the industry standard for service and follow-up, regularly providing field assistance with only 24 hours notice.

“This is a great honor for me,” Nick Wilson said about his appointment to the PMMI board. “In the ten years that my company and I have been association members, we’ve applauded PMMI’s vision for innovation in the field and level of support for its members.” Wilson graduated from Iowa State University in 1967 with a B.S. degree in chemical engineering. He was awarded an MBA from Loyola University, Chicago in 1976.
