Mary Kay Bendis Engineering Manager Morrison Container Handling Solutions

Glenwood, IL – Morrison Container Handling Solutions, a leading manufacturer of timing screws, change parts and drive units for the packaging industry, announces Mary Kay Bendis is the company's new Engineering Manager. As engineering manager, Bendis oversees Morrison's experienced team of engineers and field service technicians, including twelve PMMI (Packaging Machinery Manufacturers Institute)-certified engineers.

Mary Kay Bendis comes to Morrison Container Handling Systems from Viskase Companies Inc. (Darien, IL), a worldwide leader in packaging solutions for the meat industry, where Bendis advanced to engineering department's executive director in 2007, after having joined the company in 1987. Bendis served as the engineering department's director from 2001 to 2007, manager from 1994 to 2000, and senior supervisor from 1987 to 1993. She has additional experience with Union Carbide Corporation (Chicago) as supervisor and engineer in research and development.

Mary Kay Bendis earned her MBA in Operations Management from DePaul University, Chicago, and has a BS in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Illinois at Chicago.
